[REDACTED]: A Procedural Horror Audio Drama
Created by Jamie Petronis and Johnathan Magno
Hush Studios
Review by Christina Persaud
Jacob Kane is a struggling actor down on his luck in more ways than one. Out of money, options, and hope, he seeks solace in the advice of a friend while wishing to see his estranged twin brother on the heels of their mother’s death. But just when it seems Jacob is about to give up on himself, he’s thrust into a new and dangerous world. He’s about to make a decision that will change everything.
[REDACTED] is a brand new audio drama by Jamie Petronis of The Cellar Letters and Johnathan Magnostarts, co-creator. With a talented cast of actors and a rotation of hellishly good writers and directors, it’s no wonder [REDACTED] comes out the gate so strong. The show does a hell of a job pulling the listener in from the very first episode.
Inspired by 2000s television shows like The X-Files and Psych, the horror-comedy centers on “THE [REDACTED] UNIT: an underfunded agency tasked with handling bizarre and often dangerous paranormal cases.” Each procedural episode follows Jacob as he discovers hidden truths about himself and the supernatural.
Highly engrossing sound design and audibly gripping, [REDACTED] will leave audiences eagerly listening for more.
If you’d like to listen to the show, [REDACTED] will premiere its first episode on November 8, 2025. Visit www.theredactedunit.com to tune in.
